Each unit shows its Jamaican price in J$ with 15% GCT included, worked at the exchange rate stated in the footer. None of the Jamaican sellers of commercial units whose pages we could read publishes a price for them. Send us the building and the quote comes back with the same numbers.

Midea offers a seaside anti-corrosion treatment. Ask which one your unit carries.

Salt air is the reason outdoor coils fail early in Jamaica. Midea's rooftop range can be ordered with a customised anti-corrosion treatment that Midea describes as suitable for seaside areas; it is an option, not the standard build. On the commercial split range Midea lists the treatment as optional too. Our Mini VRF lines have anti-corrosion specified on the 2025 order. For the rooftop packages and the split pairs, ask us which treatment your unit carries; the quote states it.

Midea's rooftop range runs on 380 to 415 volt three-phase at 50 Hz, and the large-split outdoor unit shown on Midea's page, a unit of roughly eight tons, is listed the same way. The Mini VRF outdoor units on our order are 220 to 240 volt, 50/60 Hz, as quoted on the 2025 order. Midea rates its rooftop range for an outdoor temperature of 10 to 52 °C. We check the supply at your board on the site visit, and the quote states the supply and rating of your exact unit.

04How long until it's on the roof?

The units are in Jamaica now.

The 2025 order has landed. Rooftop packages from 10 to 20 tons, commercial splits from 3 to 10 tons and Mini VRF outdoor units are in stock. That is our own count of the stock, not a web source. The wait is a site visit and the install, not a shipping schedule. Startec, for one, publishes no lead time for its light-commercial units.

Installation is quoted with every unit, and your quote names who installs and who services it. A contractor can buy the equipment on its own. Warranty terms are written on each project quote, not guessed on a web page. Midea lists current, pressure and temperature-sensor protection on its rooftop range, and a three-phase protector that can be added.
