Installation is quoted with every unit.
Your quote names who installs and who services it, so you know before you pay. A contractor can buy the equipment on its own and fit it.
What a job looks like
- Site visit. We look at the roof or wall for the plant, the duct route or pipe run, and the electrical supply. Three-phase is confirmed on the board, not assumed.
- Sizing. Floor area, glazing, occupancy and what the space is used for set the tonnage. We size to the building, not to the biggest unit we hold.
- Quote. Units by model code, install scope, crane or lift if the roof needs one, the anti-corrosion treatment your unit carries, and the warranty terms in writing.
- Install and commissioning. Midea ships its large-split outdoor units assembled, wired and charged at the factory, in its own words. Site work is the pipework, cable, ductwork and controls, then a commissioning check before handover.
- Service. Coil cleaning, filter changes and checks on a schedule that suits the building. Salt air shortens the interval near the coast.
Warranty
Warranty terms are written on each quote. We do not print a number here because the terms depend on the unit, the site and the service schedule agreed.
Salt air
Outdoor coils near the coast need an anti-corrosion treatment and a shorter cleaning interval. Midea offers a customised anti-corrosion treatment on its rooftop range and lists the treatment as optional on its commercial split range; our Mini VRF lines have it specified on the order. Ask which treatment your unit carries; the quote states it.
